"The greatest teachers of children and adults are the silent teachers all around called images."
Founders Creative activists Sheila and Cheryl Williams, are multi-disciplined, gifted teachers. They have received training as architects, visual artists, project managers and ministers. They chose to perfect their skills and heighten their understanding at the University of Ghana in Africa, University of Tennessee at Knoxville, United Theological Seminary, Harvard University JFK School of Government and Georgia Institute of Technology. With the support of their family, the twin sisters are currently co-founders of Williams Floyd & Moore. Housed under this parent company are Vision 2 Design, Sanaa Village Publications and National Alliance of Pan African Seminarians. The quote attributed to Nelson Mandela and Marianne Williamson illustrates the personal and professional philosophy of Sheila and Cheryl Williams: "As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." Concept Our unique company concept, Twinataa combines English and Twi. The term "twin" derives from the ancient German word "twine" meaning "two together". Ataa means twin in the West African dialect of Twi, a language commonly spoken in Ghana. Twins universally have represented symbiotic harmony and unconditional acceptance in many cultures. As such, Williams Floyd & Moore advocates the use of twinship tactics to facilitate wholeness and wellness.
